Terms of Use
Although parts of this site are about offering resources to visitors, I retain copyright for everything you find here. Before you take anything, please make sure you have read and understood these terms. Ignorance is not an excuse for breaking them.
- Soggy Muse and its parts
- All written content, code and images used in the layout and web design of this site (Soggy Muse) is off-limits. Plagiarism is a crime and will be dealt with harshly.
- You are not allowed to take anything - that includes code, images or ideas - used on this site without express permission and then only content intended for such use (eg. free layouts, dolls or graphics).
- All downloadable content is made available as linkware so if you do download it, you need to link back to Soggy Muse (except in certain cases where there are separate terms of use).
- You also must agree to leave in any credits, graphic or otherwise, on anything you take.
- Adopting dolls, Chibi-Kaos, pixels, graphics and other forms of art
- Adoptables are free for the taking but only on the understanding that you link back to Soggy Muse.
- All adoptables are offered for personal use and may be used as long as credit remains intact.
- You may not claim my work as your own nor enter my adoptables or parts of them into contests or competitions.
- You must not edit, recolour or otherwise 'tweak' my adoptables.
- You may not sell my adoptables for any kind of currency, real or otherwise, on sites like Wajas or Eden Enchanted.
- You may not redistribute anything you find on this site or make it available for download/saving anywhere else.
- Direct linking is prohibited.
- Do not take anything unless express permission is given on that page or near the adoptable. Especially do not take anything made as a gift or custom order unless you are the person it was made for.
- Free website layouts
- You are only permitted to download layouts from the For Free section of this website, specifically the Neopets Premades and the Web Layouts.
- All layouts are offered as linkware. If you download them, you must link back to Soggy Muse.
- You may not use images, content or source code from my designs in another design. This includes using my code or images to create your own layout.
- You may not use layouts from the Sales section of this website unless you are the person who paid for them. In addition, buyers are not permitted to break up my designs in any way, including the use of my images in another layout.
- You must not claim my layouts as your own work, nor may you enter contests or competitions with them or parts of them.
- You may not use the source code from my layouts as a template to make your own.
- Commissions, including layouts and art such as Chibi-Kaos or dolls
- I retain copyright for anything I make, no matter how much you pay for it.
- All commissioned works, whether art or layouts, are bound by the same terms of use as adoptables or freebies.
- You may not resell my work for real or play money.
- You may not enter my work into contests or competitions without my express written permission. I retain the right to say no if you do ask me.
- All commissions are for non-commercial use only.
- Responsibility for downloading
- Downloadable files are compressed into .zip format. You'll need WinZip or any decompression programme that works with .zip files to extract the files.
- All downloads are virus-free. I am not and will not be liable for any damages to your computer or server after downloading and/or use of my work. Use them at your own risk.
These Terms of Use may change without notice or warning and will be effective immediately after posting. Downloading or using anything made available on this site means that you agree to these conditions and are legally bound by them.
Ignorance is not an excuse.
